QSelect yields label on native form submit

Hi, I have a QSelect with map-options and emit-value set. When I’m doing a native form submit, surprisingly the selected option’s label gets submitted instead of its value. Is this a bug or a feature? Is there a hook so that I can map it back before the request is sent? Thanks!
