Ask Razvan a Question! Q & A for Quasar.Conf
-
Since 1.+, I have seen the source maps multiplying for each component. By now, in 1.12 I only get in debug the transpiled sources, not my original ones. Is it due to webpack or does it originate in the quasar CLI? Will you offer an option to return to the single original source code map?

What is your opinion on Weex and NativeScript? Do you think Quasar would support native development one day, and if so, which native toolkit might you be most inclined to support?
-
For the next major release, is there plan to make the Video Player as a full scale Video player or will it remain as is?
Thanks! -

What makes Quasar better than Ionic Vue?
Why should someone new choose Quasar over Ionic?
-
Hello @Sacrekin
Have you perhaps found a solution for the debugging transpiled sources issue? I am having the same behavior. -
@all here. Unfortuntely, Razvan won’t be participating in the Quasar.Conf due to sickness. So, we won’t be doing the planned Q&A. Thank you still for your questions and participation in this thread. We hope you’ll still join us in the conference.

@dineshtrivedi No, even after ditching out babel using the --modern switch. To be quite honest, this is becoming aggravating.
-
@Sacrekin @dineshtrivedi - I believe you are having the same issue as here?
https://forum.quasar-framework.org/topic/6103/sourcemaps-not-generated-after-quasar-update-anymore
If not, please start a new thread or even an issue on GH.
This was for project general direction questions to Razvan and not for questions of possible bugs being fixed.
Thanks.

@neilhoff I have done a complete test with the key UI elements of my app. It came out very quickly that Vue is not strategic for Ionic. They are focusing on React & of course Angular. The current “beta” implementation is very buggy & does not even support v-model. Look at the update activity on github: nearly nil with most of the sources being 2 years old. To be avoided absolutely.

Great conf.
Could you please provide us those Github links from the speaker here, in particular the first speaker.
Thank you for organizing this conf. -
Thanks @Ben-Hayat. The link to Yev’s repo is in the video description.

@s-molinari
Perfect. Thanks! -
Just watched quasar.conf on yt - great job guys! It was very, very nice to see you, your working place and… your desktops
The topics were well balanced, hope that Natalia will do some amazing stuff with Quasar and yeah, definitely agree that PWA needs more documentation and reference app/recipes - quasar and PWA are the best! Special thanks to @s-molinari , one of the most awesome moderator I ever saw.
Can’t wait to see the next q.conf! Really appreciate your work!
