Using Axios

Hi

I’m newbiew to Quasar and wanted to do a simple rest call to my server when clicking a button.
My question is about making that rest call. I understand that I should use Axios. I also understand that it is already setup with Quasar (1.2.4). Is this correct?

Where can I read a guide for newbies to how to make a post request to a rest url?
I searched the web and also here, but got to old posts which I’m sure are irrelevant to the current version.
