QModal: issue combining 'maximized' and 'position' properties.

Good day!
I want to use q-modal in ‘maximized’ mode so that it cover the entire screen. And slide in from left side. However, if I add a ‘position’ property the modal widnow is no longer ‘maximized’: it does spread 100% screenwide but the height is minimized. A bug, a feature or do I need extra information? I’m using v0-17 so far.
