When trying to confirm my email, I get the following screen and therefore cannot confirm my email to get the newsletter.

Hi - we have been informed - and are REALLY sorry about this. It seems that our host failed to disclose to us that we needed to buy an unlisted add-on to our package for an SSL certificate. We are going to be building our own API to resolve this, but that will take us a few days to launch.
