Are there any packages for Quasar for Sublime Text … for code highlighting and auto-completion?

If not, are there any packages for any of the other major editors such as PHPStorm, Visual Studio Code, etc

@metalsadman I just uninstalled Visual Studio Code a couple of weeks ago, as I was finding that I was using Sublime all the time.

I’m mainly using Sublime because I’m doing quite a bit of Laravel too, and most of the tutorials on Laracasts are using Sublime so it was easier to follow along if I was also using Sublime.

There’s an article that I’m just starting to read on Medium for WebStorm

@metalsadman Are you using Quasar Snippets by Abdelaziz Mokhnache in Visual Studio Code?

@digiproduct yeah i got it installed, dunno how tho, maybe it’s included in their Quasar installation, Vetur and other vue related ones i installed manually VSCode also intelligent enough to offer extensions based on the files you are working with.

If I don’t hear from anyone else on the forum here about anything for Sublime Text, then I think I might consider swapping back across to Visual Studio Code.

I might ask the same question across on the Discord server, and see if any there has any idea.

If there isn’t something for Sublime there should be. Maybe I will look into doing it. 😉

I swapped across to Visual Studio Code from Sublime Text.

I installed VETUR as mentioned above by @metalsadman

I’m allowing Visual Studio Code to auto-format on save

AND … I’m loving it … I’m much more productive than in Sublime … and my code is formatted better …

Definitely a good idea to swap to Visual Studio Code.

@digiproduct “Live Server” extension is nice, too.

@qyloxe I keep the server running and have 2 monitors, so I code in one monitor and see the changes on the other monitor instantly when I save …

I couldn’t live without 2 monitors any more … in fact, I often think I should run a 3rd monitor

@digiproduct don’t think, just do it 🙂 Don’t you deserve something nice for yourself? 🙂
(and remember to post a picture of your new setup).

@qyloxe I see the benefit … if I was doing other work than Quasar … for example, designing a static web page.

BUT … for Quasar … I already have this exact same thing working already … without Live Server.

                                      update on this …

at the suggestion of @metalsadman I installed Vue.js Extension Pack by Hari Shekhar …

I feel like I’ve died and gone to heaven …

I LOVE the little line that links the curly brackets at the start and end of the function

The colours work perfectly for me … and I’m colour-blind in the red/green sector … but the default colours from this package work perfectly for me …

                                      Thanks, @metalsadman … great suggestion
