Quasar v1.0 - Feature freeze in effect for v0.17

Yeah, but that is more an outlook and not as up-to-date as Github.
Well, these two guys have done more than most big companies do. So in my book, I give them the top rating of a big company based on quality and materials in their product.
I recently looked at a product (end user product) that has been developed by an Eastern Europe company. In every aspect (design, UX, feature, implementation, performance and many others) was one of the BEST product I’ve seen over 30 years of being a developer. After finding out, it’s only 3 guys (the owner, the architect, a backend and front end developer) and the wife doing all the marketing materials. 4 people running it like a multi million $$$ product. And that’s a similar direction I get from Quasar as a dev tool.
You’re right. Hope to get to update it soon to have more details. As it helps us plan ahead.
For example, I need to have the ability for a table row to be able to expand to show a detail form or another child table in it. I had that feature in my previous app using Kendo UI. So if Quasar v1 offers that, I can change my plan for my V1 release as well.

@Ben-Hayat Is this what you’re interested in?
Exactly, a built in “Row Expansion” within a Data Grid, like this.
Most products offer this out of the box, where we can attach a detail form or a child grid for hierarchical data presentation.
Take a look further down “Expandable Row”.
I’d like to be able to provide a “Form page” or a “Grid page” when it expands where we can pass data to the sub-grid to show related children.
@Ben-Hayat Data table row expansion:

This is awesome Razvan.
Note: that sample (at the end of the list of tables) should be on the top IMHO. As it is a very nice feature for business apps.

How hard will be the migration from 0.17 to 1.0? I mean, we have to start a big project and was thinking about that

I’m a big fan of Quasar. In fact, I’ve used Quasar v0.17 in my product environment already. It’s playing well. But I have a concern. Since Vue 3.0 may be published very soon. I wonder if the support is good.Will the transfer be difficult? I hope Quasar can give a way to smooth upgrade from vue2 to vue3.

Well, the API for Vue3 isn’t going to change dramatically. So, I wouldn’t be too worried. Razvan is also tight with the Vue dev team, so if something is even close to a concern, he’ll be in the know quickly and do something about it for sure.

Hi, any news on the 1.0 release? I’ve been playing with Quasar the last few days, and I really like it so far. I’ve been more productive than with Vuetify, which I tried for a month. If we decide to go with Quasar, I’ll make sure to go to Patreon to help you out.
I really appreciate the great work you are doing.
