      https://github.com/alibaba/weex/releases/tag/v0.10.0

Native apps with Vue 2.0 made possible now with Weex, Alibaba’s new development platform for iOS and Android, which is based on Vue. It is a great milestone for Vue. I would guess it will be only a matter of time to be able to use Quasar to build native apps? Maybe? 😄

Building really native apps with Weex is not the same as building Cordova apps. On a really native app there’s no “web” platform to run on. This would be a big project but I’ll make an assessment with first chance I get.

There’s only a little components in Weex. maybe a long way to support native apps.
And i think hybrid apps are not obviously slow now.

Well why not to go to progressive web apps ? Why not to push Quasar into PWA and SSR ?

@jesus Spot on. On mobile devises Native apps are losing momentum in favor of web apps unless you are building the next Facebook. PWA are huge. It would be great if quasar could jump on that bandwagon.

@paul totally agree … I do not see too much freedom and control in native apps development, Cordova, Weex … patching situation … mmm.
Back to the roots, let stay in web-mode, claim app control out of stores and use full device features.
To whom may concern, is there anything we can do to make Quasar PWA and SSR possible ? 👍

Digging into forum I found @s.molinari saying “Quasar is PWA ready. Only the wrapper is missing.” http://forum.quasar-framework.org/topic/241/excellent-work/4
Any info about this in 0.14 or in roadmap after full release ?

I might have been a bit overzealous when I said that.
