For the record this strategy works perfectly (using 0.17.10). I had a similar layout need due to having a large search input directly after the title:

hmm interesting. I can’t find any documentation for layoutStore on the quasar site or even google.

Do you mean using vuex for state management and you were using store in the generic sense?

Also: add layoutStore to your data - not clear what this means. could you explain

I was also looking at the event bus to signal the main layout to hide its tabs…
